About
Who I am
Computer Science Student at NUST · Full Stack Developer · Founder of Stayza
I'm a Computer Science student at NUST, and the project that shaped how I think about engineering is Stayza, a hostel discovery platform I designed, built, and shipped to production on my own. The app itself matters less than what building it taught me: how systems actually fail, why simple structure beats clever structure, and what it takes to own something end to end.
I'm naturally curious about how things work under the hood. I'd rather understand why a system is designed a certain way, and how it could be made simpler or more reliable, than treat it as a black box. Most of what I know came from building real things rather than following tutorials, which means I've learned as much from debugging production issues at 2am as from any course.
Running Stayza meant more than writing code. I made product decisions, designed the user experience, tested releases, and shaped the platform around real feedback. That combination of backend architecture and product judgment is the kind of engineer I'm trying to become: someone who can take a vague problem and come back with something people actually use.
Right now I'm focused on growing Stayza, digging deeper into distributed systems and backend architecture, and becoming the kind of engineer who could build products used by millions, not just hundreds. Outside of code, I spend a lot of time reading about how well-built software is designed and picking apart products I like to figure out what makes them reliable at scale.
Mission
To build scalable software, solve meaningful problems, and continuously grow as an engineer while creating technology that makes a lasting impact.
